The information can be corrected when you check in.  You may also call in advance to make the correction.  Allowing the parent to stay at the Navy Lodge is a courtesy and a privilege that the Navy provides for the Recruits.

The Navy Lodge is a military lodging facility.  If you are planning to stay at Navy Lodge Great Lakes, then your Recruit or Sailor is your sponsor.  Therefore the reservation must reflect the Recruit's name.  All other information is yours.  The Sailor does not have to be present at check in or stop by to show when you are attending the graduation.  This is

I booked Navy Lodge for November 6th PIR, they did not mention anything about having to be booked under SR name, we all are going and I got confirmation number from them, I don't understand?

Yes when I called initially on receiving the graduation date and lodging info I mentioned I was coming in for graduation.  I couldn't understand why they put it in if we couldn't stay.  I did call back and of course they are booked, I will try back she suggested to call back and check.  :)  Thanks for the heads up on, it is all new.

We also booked at Navy Lodge in our names and are not retired Navy.

Hello Sharon!   I had to book the room in my SR's name because it is a Navy facility but they gave me no problems and the girl at the front desk was very helpful and even told me that I needed to book the room in my SR's name, didn't say anything about being just "retired" military?  You may want to call back on that!!
