My daughter's 1st grade class is writing letters to on our sailors and wants to know the correct way for the salutation on the letter.

Not only is this a writing lesson for the children, she wants to instill the respect in the letters that our sailors deserve.

First advice: the navy has no soldiers. Only sailors :) Soldiers are Army, Marines are Marines, airmen are Air Force.
