Which Airport is the easiest/closest for Boot Camp Graduation

Which Airport is the easiest to fly into for Boot Camp Graduation?  We will probably rent a car.  We are coming from California.  Also, by our best count...Graduation will be the last week in December or first of January... :(       (He leaves November 7th, 2011)  With the holidays right then, I am sure everything will be a mess...

You're right, his PIR will most likely be 01/06/2012, but it could be the week before or after, so you will have to wait to get that form letter before making any definite plans.  Recruits usually fly in and out of Midway or O'Hare, but I've seen on here that parents also fly into/out of Milwaulkee.

We just checked into the various options and decided it was worth it to drive a bit further to fly into Milwaukee. Less traffic and an easier airport to navigate. Plus, we found rental cars to be much cheaper in Wisconsin. Did the math and worked out quite a bit cheaper.

If you just want to know the closest, it's O'Hare.

Where in Wisconsin would you fly into?
I looked it up and its about $100 cheaper per person and rentals start at $15.51 per day and it looks to be about 49 miles from Great Lakes. Big difference. Thanks
