I just recently started scrapbooking; more so in memory of my son Oneal; it helps me with relaxing. It can be fun seeing my ideas take form.

I cross stitch. I've been stitching for almost 23 years now.
fellow scrapper here. Just got the Stand and Salute cartridge, haven't played with it yet, but has some great cuts on it.
I have been stitching for over 25 years. Was wondering if there are any x-stitching projects, charts, etc. that have some Navy stuff on them. Any ideas about that? Let me know Georgie.
I scrapbook and i used to xstitch but haven't had much time for either of them right now. I don't like the counted xstitch as much...it gets me too confused. It's hard to find the stamped ones though. Does anyone know of a good place to get these?

I love scrapbooking though and have made several recipe books as gifts. I personalize them to fit their tastes and they go over really well. I dont use any machines so it's all hand cut. I should start one for my corpsman Michael. He leaves for Japan next week. I'm missing him already...

try the website 123stitch, they have everything imaginable and are reasonably priced! I order from them quite a bit!
I'm a die hard scrapbooker. I use scrapbook supplies to alter just about anything I can get my hands on, I make cards, gift albums, scrapbook for others and so on...

I also recently purchased the Stand and Salute Cricut cartridge and I love it. I also have a number of patriotic and military stamp sets and recently found a beautiful Navy album.

thanks I will have to check it out, do you have the expression or smaller cricut?
I have the Cricut Expression. I started with the smaller one; when the Expression came out my best friend bought the smaller one from me and I bought the Expression. I'm really happy with it! I love the smaller increments you can cut with the Expression.
I do scrapbooking and counted cross-stitch a lot! I have the baby cricut because of the space I have but am still considering the bigger one. My daughter and her husband have been in the Navy for three years and are both nukes. He is on a sub and she is on a carrier. Both are stationed in WA luckily. How is your daughter doing?
I'm also a scrapper and x-sticher!! :-) I've done more scrapbooking than cross-stitching lately. My recruit's scrapbooks are completed to current (being the only male and the middle child - he has less pics - er-he cooperated less with the picture taking process)

I'm doing my oldest and youngest (both girls) simultaneously - they are both hams, so there are a lot of pics!! :-)

I am a scrapbooker! Can't wait to do NAVY pages!
