For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello, my son is in Lemoore going to school for AT. Most I think go to Pensacola but I am not sure why he is where he is at. I do know he will be heading to Virginia and will be on the Truman eventually. He doesn't communicate too much so I end up doing alot of research on my own. I do know he has a squadron now but not sure if I can share that.

K⚓️, tell your son to do his best in A school. The sailor with the highest grade picks first for orders and the lowest grade picks last so doing good will pay off. At least that’s the way they did it back with my son. Things may have changed - my son's been in 10 years

Not all AT’s go to C school. My son didn’t know until he got his orders at the end of A school. He got orders to go to C school for calibrations then to a ship in Japan. Some will go straight to the fleet after A school and possibly go to C school later on. Best of luck to your son in A school!

My sailor signed his contract for AT and is awaiting A school. My understanding is afterwards he'll go to C school for a specialty?

Good Morning!
I have a question about leave. I would like my son to come home for 4th of July. We live 6 hours away. He can now leave base overnight but he cannot leave base without a leave buddy. Can his leave buddy take him to the airport so he can fly home and then pick him up at the airport? Logistically, it would be very difficult for us to drive to the six hours to Pensacola to sign him out before the family event on the 4th.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
