For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My AGs comments: Desk job, guarantees AC and computer access while deployed. Most stations are considered watches, so there is ample free time, plus you don't have to do QD watches.Have window in office when deployed. So you get to see the sky. Downside they are often shift workers, meaning schedule changes. 12 hour shifts, 15 days a month while on shore duty.

mykidsmom4 that is good to hear that he loves Japan. I imagine it is quite an ordeal for mom at home, at least it would be for me.
kristinelynn, our sailors must have crossed paths. My sailor got to C School in October. He is set to graduate in July I think. Say, how long was your sailors C School? 9 months, right? Good luck to him in SD.
So, we have one AG in Japan and one headed to SD. Any other moms out there? Any Spec ops moms? What ranks and when did they join?
Feel free to not respond if you feel it violates OPSEC. Just trying to get people talking and connecting.

Congratulations KristineLynn! Proud AG Mama, my son just graduated A school in June. He is in Japan now, he says for 3 years. Absolutely LOVES it there!

Graduate from C on dec 9th!! He has to report to San Diego Jan 17th!!

All AG A school and C School are at the AF Biloix base, Keesler, which is where he is. He is being told he went to C School sooner than most do, but he graduated A School on Oct 1, 2014, went to his first duty station, then went to C School on Oct 1, 2016. When did your sailor finish A School?
