Sue-Pillowcase lady: My daughter is in VFA 34, what types of material do you have for that squadron?

Patriot 1974: My daughters birthday is tomorrow, so I got her a Pandora bracelet with three charms that make her think of home. Jarads has a great selection. That way for every holiday I can continue sending a different charm that she can add to it, so it doesnt take up much space. Its kind of like the gift that I can keep on giving. Just a thought, I hope that helps.

Good morning ladies. I need addresses for September birthdays as well, so I can send out cards. I just need Andreas and Peters wife. Can you ladies please PM me, or if anyone else has it so I can get those out in the mail. Thank you all, and have a blessed day.

Morning ladies-WOW I had to go back 37 pages from yesterday morning and I can't finish reading them. But a couple of things:
Dolly, strong words but true. I don't ever ask why he hadn't emailed unless it's been 5 or more days. Sometimes big wigs are on the ship and there is a comm shut down. he'll tell.
I have been on that ship. If there job doesn't allow them access to a computer in the daytime and it's the opposite end of the library, I can certainly see why they didn't make the trek after their shift to go. Please, just be positive.
I write my son a daily "chatty Cathy" (that dates me) and tell him aobut my day. I don't ask why he didn't email and I end with miss you, love you, praying for you.

Lisa-did you find some fabric for your son's? I have still been looking but haven't found what you described as yet.
Do you want the fabric that you bought to go for VFA 34 sailors? If yes, please email me and I'll give you name of the some moms from our squadron who are sewing.
If you don't care, then I would suggest Dolly. She is sewing away and working on a couple of large units.
I have some 8 -13 year old girls who have been sewing for HAE. They generally do a fine job. And if they don't look perfect, that's okay. Cause mine don't either. We don't live in a perfect world and as one of my crew, who is actually a grandma says "my seams have character".
You don't want to send some obviously looks off-I fix lots of pcs as I am a holding person, but I find the kids one quite charming. And I do put that in my letter, so the recipent knows.

And if you have all settled this from page 28 forward, disregard. I have more training for my new job today and can't finsih reading all of the pages.

Have an awesome day. And Lynn, I've done playground duty in 105 temps! I carry a squirt bottle of water and spray the kids. I call it "Miss Sue's swimming pool". They love it.

And Navywife1126, is there anything i can do for you?

My daughter's birthday is in October, does anyone have any gift ideas, obviously a pony is out! With not knowing the length of this deployment I don't want to wait until she comes home to give her something.

I am enjoying it, dolly! I'm getting you another box ready but it'll probably be the end of the week before I send it. I'll let you know when I mail it. I sent Molly a PM also. I need to get my September ones in the mail this weekend also. I need to make sure I have all the addresses to send. So ladies, of September birthdays if you haven't PM'd me your address, please do so. You all have a great day and I will try to keep up during the day. People at stop lights don't like me sometimes cuz when I stop, I check my phone. lol Better than doing it then than when I'm driving. Have a great day all :o)

dolly, that's funny!
Lynn, enjoy your day! I fill the vending machine at our school and I got it ready yesterday. Kids eat the weirdest stuff!
I enjoyed catching up this morning and looking at all the pictures!
Welcome aboard, Crystal Marie!
Gotta go work out! Be back in an hour!
