yrlittlebit, My kid is in Monterey but they can have their phones before flying out to A school so send it now!  At her school there is a main mail delivery building, so just one address for everyone, guessing its the same in FL.

Hi our Sailor just arrived to Pensacola, Fl on 2/6 for his A school CTT
His PIR was 2/5
We had his phone but due to our departure times at the airport , we were unable to get it to him. We have not heard from him since we dropped him off for Liberty in Great Lakes.
Does anyone know if they have access right away to phones like they did when they arrived at boot camp? Or when & where I will be able to send his phone?

Grandma - That coin looks really cool.  Just curious, are you on our 2/26 Facebook group?  You're missing a lot of fun if you're not....

My daughter will be going to C school in San Antonio in the Spring.  When will she know her duty station or is that different with every sailor?

My son arrived to Pensacola yesterday as a fleet returnee.i starts tomorrow bright and early with what I think will be indoc He waited almost a year for his clearance to go through, so I've been a part of this group for a while. Looking forward to what the next several months will bring, even if he cannot talk about it.

Just waved good bye to our daughter and her friend who enjoyed Thanksgiving with us, they're headed back to do homework and duty section.  What a blessing to have two 18 year old girls here who are respectful, patient, and working so hard in school to be successful.  The Navy has left a good imprint on them both!  Now we get to go their way tomorrow and check out the school and base finally:)) I have to admit though, some things never change like her parting words, "hey mom, can I use your visa to fill up"

Hi Pensecola moms- how long after Sailors get to A school are they able to go off base for a weekend? Is there a limit on distance they can go?

Same excitement here rebeccachaplain. Blessing to be close to school. We are actually picking up my son and another sailor for Thanksgiving! So wonderful to have a couple of days to catch up. To those of you missing your sailors, hope you get the opportunity for some wonderful phone time. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I'm so EXCITED!  My daughter is stuffing her little Yaris with 2 extra sailors and 2 airmen to bring home for Thanksgiving!!!
