PIR 9/12/14
I was wondering I noticed that's for graduation it says strollers ate allowed but they prefer us not to bring them I have a 4 month old baby and I thought bringing the stroller would be so much easier for me to carry my purses and just not to have to carry everything in a little overwhelmed first time traveling by my self with the baby . :( any advice.

First, take a deep breath-and don't stress too much.
I have traveled with my son a few times, and I think I have some helpful tips.

Are you traveling alone?
Are you flying?
How long is the trip?

I would say the absolute best thing to do is get a carrier with a pocket. Ergo's are great, and they have a lot of room for anything you might need to bring with you.

At both PIRs I've been to there were several moms with strollers, so don't feel like you can't bring one, especially with a baby that small.  However, I'd also highly recommend a carrier which are great for airports, too! You can carry baby and still have two free hands. The strollers, especially the bigger bulkier ones just make it a little more difficult to maneuver the hall that has hundreds of people in it, and they prefer you not to bring one because can you imagine if every single person with kids (ages 3 and below) brought one? There'd be tons! So like I said, don't feel like you can't bring one, but I'd definitely look into trying out a carrier instead!

thank you so much ladies , and yes I am traveling alone with my bundle and I'm flying and the trip is from FL to Chicago staying for 4 days. I have the maya wrap like a carrier and I will bring the stroller . thanks for the advice, this shall be interesting. can't wait to se my husband

Good luck! :) Wraps make airport travel a LOT easier. My son never liked the stroller, so I can't comment on that.

another question , for the graduation ceremony what type of attire should I wear ? can I wear heels is there a lot of walking?

There is some walking and standing.  Maybe bring your heels and change into them right before you go down to the floor to greet him.

Honestly, I don't think the heels are worth it. It's not a ton of walking/standing, but there is a decent amount, and he's never going to remember what shoes you were wearing a year from now. I wore a sundress (with tights and a sweater because it was March) and flats. Cute but comfortable should be the goal.

The graduation hall is large, but the bleachers are very close together.  You can take a stroller, I suggest a little one, but once you enter the hall, you have to park it off to the side.  So don't take more than you can carry.  There is truly no room for a stroller in the bleacher seating area.  Hope that helps!

ship 4 div 288 :) I'm just a little nervous about the new adventure for my baby ... hope it goes smoothly. did you book your hotel and flight?
