I'm a Navy Wife and I created this group back when I was a girlfriend and my now husband had gone to bootcamp. Its funny because i joined this website when they had under 50 members. This website has been sooooo helpful and I met so many people on here that gave great advice. I made this group so that we could all come together and give eachother advice and share ideas. I see that this group is growing more and more by the day, Im happy to see that because so many wives/fiances/and girlfriends are clueless when it comes the military lifestyle. Not knowing what to expect and not knowing about deployments, bootcamp, duty stations, etc. I want this to be the place you all recommend because so many people on this site are knowledgeable and very helpful. Once again thanks for joining my group and i hope you get all the information you need. I dont get to log on as much as i used to but i try my best to get on here. So if u have any questions feel free to make a discussion topic and Im positive that it will get answered if not, inbox me :-) Take Care ♥

NavyFiance0526, I would tell your recruit to use your real name on the finalized list rather than your nickname. They will check your ID when they are looking at the list. So nicknames are not advised!

That's good news! Thank you hooyahsuzy

Oh ok. My SR just put my name (nickname) and that was it. His parents keep messaging me asking if I'm going or not as they are (his parents and 2 brothers). So that's why I ask

The names on the list will be finalized the last week of RTC. My husband wrote 'wife' and 'son' on his original list. Lol. Since he was short on time.

Thank you all again. While writing earlier I was really amped and stressed, but you guys have definitely calmed my nerves. I'm going to proceed as I'd planned and if the situation comes up again with his mom then I will tell her only what he's told me. NavyFiance0526 see you soon!

Navygf365 - if he said you're on it, then you're on it. His mom may have thought otherwise, so just go off you recruits word and not the moms. I will see you there!

Thank you all for the help. I saw the password for the gate pass weeks ago but I didn't know that the names for the list were included in the packet. I'm just stressed and confused. I wish I could talk to him. I even volunteered not to be present at the graduation but he rejected that. When I spoke to him 2 weeks ago he was firm about how excited he was to see me AT his graduation. My plans are still on; but all this confusion is definitely driving me up the wall.

Is the names on the form letter the official names on the list?
