While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Anti M - Yes he was told to request it and fill all the paper work 10 days before our move. Which he did, exactly 10 days before. I even went with him to make sure everything was right.

I have a question hopefully someone can answer. When should we get our MALT and DLA? We're PCS'ing to Norfolk from SanDiego on Monday (driving) and were really hoping to get the money before we got on the road. We got it in advance for our last move thats why I'm really confused.

@ Anna ... first, he puts in a special request chit to let them know he is getting married. He has to go to a class/counseling on finances, rights and responsibilities for dependents. The chit also screens for fraudulent marriages and for security concerns (marrying a non-citizen if he has a clearance, mostly). Then you fly to Great Lakes and just follow the Lake County procedure... it takes two days.

After that, on the next working day when he gets time, he goes to Personnel and adds you to his page two, enroll you in DEERS and Tricare, gets your ID card (or the form so you can do it at home if you didn't stay there for this part).
It isn't difficult, just takes several steps and needs to be planned out. Can't be rushed. He may receive some negative feedback because many senior sailors feel waiting is best, but that is a matter of opinion, they cannot legally prohibit him from marrying.

came to Biloxi to see my fiancé for 2 weeks , and found out I couldn't be his liberty buddy Becaus fiancé isn't family member:( according to his commend . We got so up set , didn't know what to do but lucky us that he has such a wonderful roommate who were able to do my fiancé's liberty buddy during the weekend so we could have over nights together. We had to book another hotel room
for him. So glad that we had some savings to cover this unexpected coast . During the week I was staying all by my self at hotel. There was hotel inside base but only able to book 3 days in advance , and able to book only maximum 3 days.

Want to know what day they let them call... hours... and when supposed to arrive the first letter. thankyou so much... i miss him very much this is hard to me. We are very close.
