All I know was he was running for PT, passed out & then passed away. They are doing an investigation, of course. I kinda figure he had a heart condition or something that wasn't diagnosed. I just can't stop thinking about it.

Now I think I'm starting to get it.On January 30th, our sailor will start B.E.S.S. & then A school will be in Groton after that. We're all feeling a little better about things now. He was struggling some but it's working out. Prayers have been answered!

P.S. Sorry I got your name backwards Nana Donna & thanks for the help!

Popeye = sometimes they know what is going on sometimes they don't.  Sometimes they are told something and something else happens.  It is the Navy life as we all come to realize LOL.  They do have a lot more freedom then in boot camp but they still have to earn privileges such as wearing civilian clothes, going of base etc...but it is still way better than having someone screaming in your face all the time.   Every step of the way is a waiting game to, when will class start? how long is my holding time? etc etc

Morning all! I got some info from DonnaNana yesterday but will my son know what the heck is going on once he starts class? I think he's kinda freaked out after having been told 24/7 what to do in boot & now he has so much freedom. He hasn't started any classes yet. I am just curious what his classification is & how long he will be there. Sounds silly, doesn't it? I guess he should know these things.
