Yes, there is a fridge. I know my son did not like the food and kept food in his room. He is almost gone now...graduating next week and off to Norfolk.

Sheilamf:  According to veteran Moms, the "barracks" are dorm-like rooms with 3 to a room.  Apparently, each room has a microwave, but not sure about a frig. I haven't asked my son yet, but will find out as he is there now.

suems2:  I think my son purchased one with the Sailor's Creed.  It had places for his single picture and for his division picture.  I thought it was a nice frame.  I can send you a picture when I get home if you'd like.  Just let me know.

Has anybody been to New York City? Gonna surprise my son for his birthday at the end of October, and I know he has been wanting to go to NYC, and would like to know things to do, not the normal tourist attractions, want to get the real feel of nyc, eat some really good local food....please let me know
