Cheri......yeah my son doesn't have a girlfriend either.  As far as I know (I'm learning as I go)  is Fast Attack (deployed up to 9 months), Boomers (up to three months) and special missions (can remember how many months).  But like I said I'm learning, sometimes my son explain things to me and I still uhh?  Oh well getting there.

jeffsmom.......my son is doing the same job.  My sailor wants to be in a Fast Attack (of course) the ones that are deployed up to 9 months.  I'm happy for him not for me as you understand.  So far we are not going to the graduation but last night my husband said we are going.  Just praying for that.  So far we are been there in every event, not that I don't want to go but (money) let see.  I know what you mean,  two more weeks yay!!!

Rose 7 Groton, My son is doing ET/Nav I think its called.  It does take a long time to finish school.  I am looking forward to his graduation.  His brothers & grandparents are coming too.  There are three subs that are possibilities for him.  He has a friend from our hometown who has been in the Navy for 12 years, right out of high school.  July 4th can't come soon enough to see him!
