So excited, we have reservations at the Naval Lodge for graduation on 7/1/11. Excited about seeing my son, not so excited about the long drive. Illinois to CT.
Yay:) Robert graduates BESS next Friday & will be flying home to help our son and I make our way to our new home!
I am so excited to live up there. He goes to look at housing next Tuesday, and they said he'll have the keys the same day, but I'm prepared for that to change the last minute.
Well be headed that way bright and early Tuesday morning and I couldn't be more excited!
New SR Wife - thank you for the motel information. I will check into this one. I was just planning on staying at Navy Lodge but I will definitely check out this one and a couple more that were suggested.
Janlee - thanks for the link. I haven't checked it out yet but I definitely will.
Hi Ladies,
What do we know about A school graduation? I couldn't make it out for BESS graduation after being there for PIR, but am planning on the A school ceremony.
My son says that if we stay on base he has to be with us to escort us around any time we want to leave the hotel. Did anyone else have that experience?
He is waiting to "class-up" for A school so will start any day now…so many changes in so little time. Thanks for any info you can send my way.
Nancy
