I am off to meet my new grandson.
Will catch up with all of you when I get back from playing grandma.

PS: my 6 year old granddaughter sent me her first email last night. It was such a thrill to get it!

Tee-1, it is a religious book. Mainly says that in order to love others fully we first have to accept God's love into our hearts. Max Lucado is a well-known Christian minister and author. I like his books.

Hi Nor. Cal Moms and Dads,
I'm doing fine. My sailor Chrissy is doing good. She got orders for C school in Virginia, should be leaving GL in Jan. she is happy to be moving on to the next stage of her Navy career. She sent me a gift book; "A Love Worth Giving" by Max Lucado. Happy Fall to all!

Yeah fall has arrived (I hope)! Loving this weather. Starting to get my stuff together for the "great sew in" on Oct 16th. Sorry I can not join all who are going to Fleet Week in SF this week end. Hope you have a great time. Oh yeah, as the director of an adult day care program one of my big events every year is Veterans Day. This year the NROTC is going to be our color guard. Hoping to find a speaker (of course Navy) that can join us with a short presentation on the meaning of support from home and what it means the troops overseas. I am still looking if you can help let me know. I am in SAc and work in Carmichael
