Ok, here I am home alone thinking I would have a quite evening. Husband is out of town on business and I would just have the house to myself.

Then I get a message from our son (who is out to sea) that the baby is breach and if he doesn't turn that they will take him by c-section next week. Which is no big thing, but the baby was in position last week, so he has turn in the last 7 days. I feel so bad for my DIL. You see my son did the same thing when I was carrying him. He turned twice; 1st time two weeks before he was born and then turned a second time the week he was born. Nether was a pleasant experience and one that takes your breath away.

I am feeling very helpless right now. I know there is nothing I can do, but feel like I should. I hate having all these miles between us. I wish I could just go and be there, don't know what I would do, but I want to be there!!!

Ok ladies, I am going to go and sit down and try and calm down. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest

Even if you can't sew come out and support this group of sewers! If you can't sew, you can bring snacks or beverages for those that can. If you can't sew you can come and lead your support for this project hosted by Alaina.

This project is a chance to do something for a sailor that won't be home for christmas.

Good Morning! I sure feels like Autum is here. I hope all is well with everyone. Great news from LuAnn!

My sailor is very excited that they put in for orders to his next phase. Hoping the wait won't be too long.

GOOD NEWS from LuAnn. She emailed me a few days ago but I been busy with work and just got around to reading some of my email messages yesterday.

everyone
just a quick email in case you didn't catch me text today or read your Facebook yet....

Taylor was released this afternoon from the hospital!!!! The doc called me and said the ex rays were clear, his opening cleaned out and "vacuum packed". Taylor got to take his first shower in 7 days in the hospital. I have no idea if he was sent home with pain meds but his first question to the doc was "When can I get in the ocean"? THe doc said he ordered two weeks off from work and to return in two weeks for more ex rays then next step. Taylor is recuperating at another junior officers house as his wife, Amy will take care of him. Taylor was going to go get his car in the parking lot from work and then to his house to grab necessities to stay at Jeremy and Amy's for awhile. He was sleeping when I talked to him for a second after I got off work. He is so strong physically that the recovery once it started in the last day was moving fast. We are just at the beginning of his command changing but I just want him to get the needed rest to heal further. BTW..."he has pictures of THE BEAR, THE NURSE AND HIMSELF TOGETHER"..he mentioned posting them on Facebook soon...lol... the nurses were telling me how popular his bear had become and a real "chick magnet"...

thank you again to everyone for all your love and support. I am confident we will "pay it forward"as it meant so much. let's continue to support all our men and women whom we depend on. they truly "hold up" each other as we experienced so heavily.

love
LuAnn
