I had the cupcakes delivered for my son's 21st birthday. It was an issue with delivery because he was in class at the time so they returned to the store without delivering them. When we were visiting two weeks ago I stopped by the mt. Pleasant store (it's the one that delivers) and they gave me my order so I ended up doing the delivery. My son reported they were good and that he shared them with others. I suggest you make arrangements with your sailor to pick up so you don't have the same issue that I did.
Anyone else have a sailor in #1232? He will be in power school in December but said they were told that they would be off for a time around x-mas

Thanks Uffda.  He will probably say "Mom, don't you know I'm working out and don't need cupcakes", but I'm sure he'll love them and share them too!!

....and all the best to your son:)

Thanks Rachael.  The Cupcake store told me they sometimes have trouble delivering to the sailors because they are in class.  I hope he loves the cupcakes and gets that cute delivery girl.  Then he will really thank me:) LOL

Robin... I had cupcaked delivered around Easter from "Cupcake". He said they were amazing and the delivery girl was really cute.

Blackie123 and Mary MM/PS... My son was in the last class that was supposed to start in May but the class was "rolled back" to start in July.  He mentioned also that they were going to graduate before the Christmas shutdown but the 15th sounds really early.  I will be so happy if that is the case.

Hi everyone.  My "baby" will turn 21 a week from today.  It's been such a crazy year for all of adjusting to his new life...I miss him like crazy but like all of you, we are so very proud of him!!

Have any of you ordered cupcakes for your sailor from that cupcake shop in Charleston?  I want to do something for him since I can't make him his favorite...

I so agree.  He will always be my baby, my mom used to say that about me, now I get it.

Have a wonderful day!!

Holiday Standdown= "Christmas break", last year started about 12/15 and lasted till after New Years I believe. Doesn't happen at boot camp though,

What is the "Holiday Standdown" - my son doesnt clue me in as much as I would like.

I am so sorry for this issues, hurt feelings, etc going on.  I pray for all of our Nukes everyday.  This is a hard journey for them and for us.
