No stillettos for this gal.  I'm deciding between comfortable flats and very low heeled wedges!

The walk wasn't bad, and I noticed what looked like a shuttle from a parking lot farther than the one we were in.  I don't think walking is too much of an issue unless somebody's stillettos factor in.

Thanks.  That's not a bad walk.

I have a question for anybody who's been to power school grad.  Do we park miles away from where the graduation is like we did for PIR graduation, or is the parking lot relatively close to where we're going?  I'm trying to decide what to wear, and knowing how far I'll have to walk will help me decide.

CindyLou, what a gem you have there. Sounds like he appreciates his terrific wife. :^)

Sherri, so glad to hear your sailor likes IT.  My brother years ago trained in Pensacola and for that Nebraska boy Florida was pretty keen.  In the end, all we want is our kids to be happy and sounds like he is.  Bravo!

Happy Anniversary CindyLou, what a fantastic gift! I love gifts that are from the heart and not the store. It shows how much you mean to him and how much he loves you.

Well, since it is so quiet on this site, I am just going to blab.

Yesterday was my anniversary! (26 years) I had volunteered to take my son's pet pig Parker (the porker) to the vet to be neautered. We are not worried about him procreating as there are not any other pigs around us. Male pigs just will get very aggressive if not nuetered. I also had to work afterward until 8:00. I wasn't expecting this anniversary to be anything special.

When I got to work, I had a dozen roses waiting for me! Over the last 26 years I have received flowers only about 1/2 dozen times. My husband is not big into cards, flowers or shopping, so it is always a suprise to me if I receive a gift. I thought it was sweet but really suprised me was what he had done for me at home. My husband made an anniversary movie picture slide show DVD for me. The song, "You Are So Beautiful"  is playing while picures of me as I grow from baby to my late teen years when we first started dating and from then pictures of us together, homecomming, prom, wedding, until present. I was so shocked and touched. WOW! Now that was special! What a guy, no wonder I have been with him so long!

Sherri - So glad to hear about your now IT son!  That thought has crossed my mind a time or two about not passing.  Glad there is another opportunity for your sailor!

Welcome Micka!

Hope all is well with you all.  I've been reading and keeping up, just not saying much.  I have alot on my plate besides my sailor in Nuke School.  Wishing I could clear my head of all the other peripheral stuff.
