Motherof3gr8sons - so glad to hear you got the info you needed and will be able to see your sailor! Prayers for safe travels.

I received a call from the ombudsman this afternoon and with her help have initiated the plan to see my sailor next week.  Thanks for your suggestions and your good wishes.  Emailing seems to work more quickly than phone calling.

Motherof3gr8sons - I will keep you in my prayers. I hope you can see your sailor!

JayDee659 - I love it when a song comes on the radio. Love the picture of your daughter at MEPS. You are so right - they look the same yet so different!

Motherof3gr8sons-best of luck to you. Hope you see your sailor and do well with surgery and treatments. Stay strong. You know you brought those sons up well. You have our support.

Hi all - Happy Wednesday!

Motherof3gr8sons - here's some contact #'s for NNPTC - not sure if these are the ones you already tried but  hopefully one of them will work for you:

NNPTC Contact info

NancyJo - I don't understand why you keep getting "unfollowed" on the site :(  The Ning situation is a real pain in the pattootie here!  Some days I feel like I'm going in circles lol!  And thanks for the compliment ;-D

Navymom18 - I agree!  Your sailor does sound like a wonderful young man!

Comment by JayDee659 on May 29, 2019 at 11:21am

Hi everyone!  I'm enjoying all the left over storms that hit the mid-mid-west yesterday.  We may avoid the tornadoes since the weatherman says there's no sign of rotation, whew.

NNLori how have you been?  Sounds like your Nuke is doing well!

I heard one of her favorite songs from her senior year in high school on the radio this morning.  Made me smile, I picture her singing along, wearing her prom sunglasses with a huge smile on her face.

I found this daughter swearing in at MEPS.  Hard to believe it was 4 years ago, where did that time go?  She looks the same, yet so different these days.

I appreciate the pointers on the particulars of posting.  I was hoping to get from the ombudsman the details on my sailor's current schedule so I could make the plane arrangements to see him before his next phase.  I am the one with the health crisis and thought it would be better for him to see me now (cause I don't look any different) and hear the news in person before the treatment and surgeries.  I have emailed the ombudsman and will continue to call.
