ProudOfK - I left you a PM reply. It's lights out for me here in the Midwest.

Does anyone who is not going need pictures or lunch provided for their son/daughter?  If so, private message me and we can figure it out!

Comment by kai cat on April 8, 2019 at 3:44pm

Yes comps tomorrow on Tuesday!  I know he has work to do, but all I think about is shopping, getting my nails done, packing! LOL

Yes we have to meet up - I will PM the ladies with my cell phone# so we can decide the best place.

I never should have let someone else's comments to me turn me away from this site.  But I can be so emotional when not taking my hormone patches! LOL

B’sNikeMoM - the weather was beautiful this weekend. We were at a Red Wings game Saturday and didn’t need a jacket when we were on the rooftop deck! It was wonderful.

I would love to meet other moms/families at PS graduation. It is beyond comforting knowing we are all going through this together- NMH’s to all of you!!!

Congrats to all the Power School grad moms!
So Chipmunk what aircraft carrier or sub?

Congrats to you too SubMom - as I recall they have their Comps tomorrow - All the best to them.

WearsLargeHats - thanks for the explanation!  So, he probably has "soft" orders as there is information on the ship and "expected" arrival date, and he did have some information re: Ombudsmen, along with notice that he should have a sponsor, but I don't think more detailed than that, which it seems the "hard" orders will have.

All right - SubMom, pandalvr and kaicat - the 3 of you definitely have to say hi at graduation and be sure to take a picture and share with us!  Any others that will be there on Friday?

SubMom - you had nice weather yesterday too - B&C sent a picture and B was in a tank top!  They were outside enjoying the nice weather (for a change).  We were at 82 yesterday and it's supposed to be 89 today!  We went to the San Diego Zoo on Saturday and the weather was really nice there too.

The small fire safe box is definitely a good suggestion for anyone.  I ordered one online for B back when he was in prototype and he keeps all his important papers in it still.  He never went with the room darkening curtains though - he said he was usually so exhausted he never had a problem falling asleep and it didn't matter if it was day or night lol!
