navyboyfriend, I am wondering the same thing myself. I am actually going to visit the last weekend of the month and if all goes well this week, he will be an OC. But the pessimistic side of him tells me he doesn't think I can visit if he's still an indoc. So I'm curious about that as well. I've already bought my ticket out(with a layover in Philly!). I do know that they have to put you on an access list so you can get on base and it's recommended that it's done at least 72 hours in advance. allieNJ had some posts about it as she's been there, but her LO was an OC then. Hope you get some info as I would like to know also.

To Cheryl S
OMG I was just catching up with some of the sites. Michael has a class! I'm very excited for him and family. He deserves some type of perseverance award. Hopefully that gray cloud has blown away from him. Of course now that he is in a class, he's probably thinking, I wanted this? LOL

Does anyone know if it is possible to visit your LO on a Sunday when they are still in the indoctrination process. and I was wondering how to do it. How much prior notice do I need, could I arrange it so I could go next Sunday?

Congratulations to all of 07! This week has been well earned and eagerly awaited. I look forward to hearing all the details and seeing pictures. Safe travels to everyone.

I continue to pray and have positive thoughts for all the other classes. One week isn't any tougher for one group over the other. They all need our prayers as some are nearing the end of this journey and others are a couple weeks in.

I with all a SUPER SUNDAY and hope those phone calls start :)

To all my friends and those I have yet to meet! Thank you all for the support and positive comments. They have kept me sane though-out this OCS process. I must say it is great to meet each of you as you get into the Norfolk/VB area. I know that Donna is here and I have not been able to meet yet! Maybe today. Leanne and family-let me know if you need anything. We travel to Newport on Tues-YEAH! for Erin's commissioning-her father is soooooo proud of what she is doing. Anyway I just want to thank you all-this site has been so helpful and I know you will gain so much knowledge by reading the past posts.
