Also good luck to the classes who have ORLP today!! My fiance was talking to some of the class chiefs, they all had good things to say about the students at OCS right now. I have faith they will all do very well and make everyone proud :)

I remember when Tim had his wisdom teeth out at OCS- he was in pain for so long! He had it done in week 10 and when i came at the end of week 11 he still had not had the time to go and get more pain meds (he was in Indoc staff and all of your LO's were keeping him super busy! They were also the only candi-o's for the longest time- so tough on them all) so I had to bring him some extra strength advil. I felt bad, I had had my teeth out at the same time and I hadn't had any swelling or anything, and I was in between rotations and school so I would've had the time to sit around and be in pain! I wished so much that I could just take his pain on since he was so busy, or that I could be there to take care of him! He was so painful until like four weeks after- right around when he left for SWOS. I felt horrible!
News update on my friend in Afghanistan- he stabilized, so was moved to Germany. His mom was able to go and she will be with him very soon. Still not out of the woods, but doing much better! His girlfriend still doesn't know what exactly happened, I guess he was on a special mission so it's classified. Those prayers are working, we can't thank you enough!! :)

It's 4:48 AM PST. I just read Leslie's workout regiment. I am so exhausted. I am going back to bed.

Good Morning everyone :)
Still no news on my friend in Afghanistan- he is still in critical condition. We are praying that he will continue to stay strong!
Just got off the phone with my fiance, he saw all of the non-candio classes at chow this morning. He said that 07 is holding strong! He actually talked to their senior chief, he said they were hanging in there just fine. Tomorrow they meet their DI.
Also, Greatbridge, apparently you sent a message to my fiance over on the OCS Navy Forum asking about SWO's getting orders. It's a small world ;). He promises to write back once he gets done with classes today!

Have a great day everyone :)

Good Morning all!
I'm off to take a huge all day long canine anatomy exam so I won't be back on until later, but I just wanted to give an update on my friend- last his family heard, he was in critical condition. Please keep praying for him and his family and friends! They need those prayers! I told them about this site and that everyone was pulling for them and they were so appreciative- it really means a lot!

Victoria- the girl who put together the Hi Mom's video for our class was still putting it together during week 12, no joke. So I bet they will be able to squeeze a few pics of Emily in there. It will be okay!!! :)

I hope everyone has a good Super Sunday with lots of long phone calls filled with good news!!
I wanted to ask for everyone's prayers... I just got off the phone with one of my high school classmates. Her boyfriend, another one of our classmates, is a soldier in Afghanistan and he has been badly wounded. She doesn't have details but merely said "it does not look good". He is just the nicest guy you could meet and a true soldier. This is his third tour in Afghanistan. If everyone could say a quick prayer for him, that he will recover, and for his family and girlfriend that they will be strong through this I would really appreciate it!!

Oh and Congrats to all the new candi-o's :) I'm jealous they get to go to navy ball! I was supposed to try to go up this weekend for it but vet school tends to get in the way of vacation ;)

Sorry I haven't been on much- I had a huge exam and then five quizzes this week. Eep. Next week and every week until the end of the quarter is just as bad, so I have to get used to it!
Marajade- Tim and I will be off base that night but if they'll let him call and be your sponsor, he can certainly do that- or, if not, he has a bunch of friends at SWOS right now who I bet can help you out :)

Okay, it was actually a Sunday night, not Friday... but it was still packed! :)
