I am!!!! :)

Hooray!  I thought I was the only mom on here in this group.  Any letters from your SR?  How does he/she sound?  Mine sounds really good.

Are you ready for Feb.17? I am more than ready! Where are you coming from? Illbe coming from NC.

I am pretty excited for graduation.  We will be coming from OK, but I am originally a Ga girl and I have spent a substantial amt of time in NC.  Love the place!

Hey!

Nice to meet you! My SR is going to TX for A school....its soo far from NC....but after A school Ill move wherever he is. Im his fiance. I told him mom about this group but IDK if she wanted to join or not. And for me it keeps me sane lol soo Im not worrying all the time or checking the mail so much even when the mail doesnt run on certain days...lol...Im out there looking...I havent gotten any letters yet....7 more weeks ladies!!!! We can do it!!!! I went on my break from work and school the week he left sooo Ive been trying to keep myself busy and I start work and school back up next week soo Im sure that will keep me busy.

Are you aware of any shuttles that will go to graduation? Ive been waiting on his family so we can book our hotels and flights together but they dont seem to be interested in that right now and as time gets closer prices arent going down. I know that some of his family is going to drive and I ahve family in the Chicago area and driving is not an option for me because Im not used to that kind of weather here in NC.

The Ramada Inn Waukegan (866)-209-4045

Motel 6 @ 847-336-9000

Red Carpet 888-249-9119

Quality Inn Waukegan

Comfort Inn Waukegan 800-416-1327

are some good places to start.  They all have shuttles.  If you don't want to drive get connected with Sarge's shuttle/taxi service.  There is a link to his stuff on the main PIR page for our group.  Apparently he is very reasonable.

Do you think his family will be going to graduation?  If they don't, let me know, my family is crazy friendly and we never mind having an extra.  There is safety in numbers.  There will be a minimum of 4 of us, and probably 5.  We will probably fly into Chicago, but we fly standby so we never know when we will get in.

Thanks sooo much! Is it too early call and get a price quote on his traxi services?

No, you can call anytime.  I think he pretty much has his prices set, and he charges for the whole car, not by the individual like many taxis to.  Much cheaper that way.

Welcome Barbie!  I was starting to think my daughter was all alone too.  She said there were 55 girls and 45 boys, but I sure didn't have any evidence of it on here.

I have gotten 2 letters- one a day or two BEFORE the form letter, and then one this Friday.  It looks like she was able to write a little throughout the week and finished it up on Christmas day.  She is so funny- really keeping her sense of humor, even though it sounds tough.  I think the POs lulled them into a sense of security and then once they had all passed their fit for duty physical the real training started.  If you read back through the main PIR group you can see a couple of excerpts from her letters.

I do indeed think the holidays are affecting the mail service.  I just wonder if at this point they have gotten any letters from us.  I sure hope so.

Thanks!  She is a hoot.

Hey I am a fiance to a SR in this division =)
I was just curious is anyones SR going to A-school
To be a Master at Arms?
