Hi everyone,

It's so nice to see updates here. I sure miss everyone. My son is going to graduate C school I think at the end of June. He's HR. He picked his main base and first he spends 2 months in San Diego, which is great since he can drive home to AZ. Then it's on to Washington.  Hope all of your sailors are doing great. Devin's Mom and Stevie, it's so nice to see your posts. I'm glad your sailors are doing so well too. Love to all.

I miss chatting w/everyone  here.  My Sailor son is in Guam & loving it.  He actually has a friend from home who is also stationed there so that makes things a little easier for him.  He just bought his first car & is very excited about that.  I hate having him so far away but @ least I know he's safe there.  Hope all is well w/everyone & their Sailors. Have a great day:)

Hi Melohhdee! It's so good to see some activity on our site.  I check sometimes to see if there is ever an update. My son is in San Antonio in C School and will finish the first week of July.  After that, I don't know where he'll be. I hope he goes to San diego because we live in AZ. but you never know. I'm sorry you're homesick but that's normal. I'm sure you'll meet people who are in the same situation as you. The main thing is that you are with your Honey!!! I'll check on here and if you want to talk I'll be here for you.  Good for you that you're almost done unpacking!  That's one thing that I hate doing!  Well, good luck and talk to you soon.  Linda

Happy New year to all!!  I have missed chatting w/this group since PIR & everyone has moved on to different things.  Hope all is well w/every one & their Sailors.  We were very fortunate to have Devin home for Christmas & that was great! He is still in A school @ GL & is doing awsome. He will be finishing up in early March. I will anxiously be awaiting his call on Fri. as his class is supposed to pick orders.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks Julie-  It has been a wild ride but it did pay off in the end.  had a great 5 days with her thanksgiving and then had her home christmas even though i didnt see her much lol-  she was out more than home ..but all is well she is back in GL doing A school getting frustrated cause every time she has to go to dentist or what not back on hold.  Feels like she will never finish.  I told her the motto should be hurry up and wait and she started to laugh.  Other than that she seems to really like the Navy life.
