To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

My sailor is in the path of the storm and safe so far.  He's so calm but I'm nervous enough for us both.  I also told him, if he has a buddy that's stranded in the Central Florida area and can't get back to due to the weather, to send them here. Yes, I can take a family.  I have plenty of room. Hotel rooms are $$ and could be non-existent due to others heading south to avoid the storm. If you know anyone that needs a place to stay, please message me.

"Our baby" isn't the baby of the family anymore!  Abby became a big sister this year.  They send good wishes to our group :)

AOMomma, I'm in the same boat so to speak :)  It's a challenge shopping and cooking without being wasteful.  I know I can make a casserole or batch of something and freeze most of it for later, the challenge is not eating too much in the beginning!  One of my New Year's resolutions - be strong and resist, resist, resist LOL

Update, another vet got them a hotel and all is ok.  They are headed to the annual Snowball Express event this weekend (snowballexpresss.org) for children of fallen military heroes.  If she needs more help I'll let you all know as they have to make it from Dallas back home to NC.  The car is beyond repair.

Just spoke to her; she's former Navy, Gold Star (lost her husband who was a Marine), is with her current husband who deploys next month, and her kids.  They just need a safe place to stay for the next 4 - 5 hours till a PGR person arrives to take them on to Dallas.  Thanks so much moms  :)
