Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Any moms near Ruston, Louisiana?  A mom needs help.  She's a former Navy corpsman married to an active deployed husband.  Just happened at 4:15 pm CT.  Car broke down and she needs some help for tonight.  PM me, thanks!

Hi all - this lovely offer comes from a military mother here in Arizona.  Please let me know if you know of someone and I'll pass along the information.

"My daughter (whose husband passed away, he was in the army) was given lots of baby girl clothes through the military and survivor programs and her daughter has outgrown them. She would like to donate them to another military family or widow who is in need of them. Size 0- 9 months. Some have gone through two babies. Some are new and some slightly used. Would like them to go as a lot. Willing to ship within the states."

Thank you  :)

Hello gang!  If you have or know of a sailor who would like to receive a care package, the nonprofit "Aaron's Gifts From Home" is doing their next mailing on October 4 and asking for names.   Go to this page and message them, or message me and I'll pass the info along.  Info needed:  name, rate/rating and mailing address.  Aaron's Gifts from Home on FB  This comes from Joe Ashcraft, a Navy veteran (corpsman) who runs this page "To Honor and Remember" (a good one to join, I'm a co-admin) and I trust him, he is involved in regular care package activities and groups.

Hey mamas!  This isn't a rescue request, but a chance to help the NICU-nurse daughter of a Navy Independent Duty Corpsman mom.  His mom, a much-liked member of several of our corpsman groups here on N4M, would be ever so grateful!  Here's her message she posted in our groups…

"Corpsmen loved ones, I have a favor to ask.  If you are on Facebook, would you please go to this link and vote for the photo my daughter posted of us?  It is to win something from a local jeweler and my daughter is discouraged that her friends are not voting.  My son is the corpsman but my daughter is a NICU nurse taking care of tiny babies who only live because of the attention of the NICU.  I know it would really boost her spirits after a hard 13 hour shift if you voted.  This is the link.  The photo is a bride touching heads with her smiling mother on her wedding day (Feb 28, 2015).  My all time favorite photo." Click this link to FB page to vote and here's the photo to look for -
