Any help is so appreciated,

Paula

Hi Laura, I haven't b/c my sailor has been on shore duty this year. (Right now he's on a ship, but it's a short deployment.)   Nevertheless, I get the emails when someone posts!   What's up with you and your sailor?  Deployed now or coming up?

As a once upon a time Navy wife, I can say that if you are getting to the point where you don't feel strong. Find a friend, Navy wife or Navy Mom and reach out for support. There is plenty out there, if only you ask.

not the lincoln. I really cant say on here because there is a pic of him and I and there are some things you cant post here. But word to everyone I believe there is no certain way of surviving deployment because we can always give advice but everyone is different and some can be strong and some cant and some know when enough is enough and some never quit. Dont let anyone judge our decisions because you know what you can handle, All I can say is try to be strong and tell your love one how you feel dont keep it inside.

Living 4000 miles away from home is hard enough; and then my hubby was deployed =[  about half way through so hoping that in no time he will be right back next to me.

Yeah, my boyfriend is an ABE and I know he'll be working all day long. I hope he can find time to email me at least every other day :[

Of course :] Too bad I'm in Chicago, I'd volunteer to help buy stuff! But the Stennis has been out for a little bit already anyways so at least he's not out to sea for the entire time the rest of the boys are. Care packages are key :] Little things like razor blades and toilet paper would be greatly appreciated. And NEVER forget to send a package without spraying it with his favorite perfume of yours. Please let me know how often he emails you and how tired he gets! I need to brace myself for all this :-P
