Agreed, wonderful day!! got my call and now I am ready for bed!! Gregory told me he loved me and said to tell his dad he loved him, aww!! I am so proud of him!!
What an amazing day! I got my call at 9:49, he sure did sound tired. Hope you all made it back to your homes safely. What I didn't realize is I was standing right by you Proud Mamma at soliders memorial, you can't say we didn't try to stand our ground on the 2nd step. :)
Im staying at Drury Inn Union Station and will be coming in from Springfield MO. My son said that we CAN go spend time with them at the hotel. Which is a good thing. His recruiter told him I could get his extra clothes at the picnic, but my son told me today that's not the case, that I will have to get it from the hotel. He also said he was at MEPS today and did a bunch more paperwork and urine test tomorrow morning and that there are 89 of them in the Cardinal Company. It was nice to talk to him, and I feel a whole lot better today. I was wondering the same thing about being able to get close for pics.
We will be leaving in the AM to head to St. Louis from Little Rock, it's about a 61/2 hour drive with my husband and I it will be a 10-12 hour drive. I can't wait to my son and spend sometime with him, if it's like it was when my older son was in St Louis we will have until about 9pm to spend with him. Where is everyone staying? we are staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel at the Arch I hope we get to go on field or stand close to get pics of our sons. does anyone know? Everyone safe travel and see you all there.
I just called my son, he answered and said "busy" then click. oopps :) Leaving out tomorrow to head to STL. I'm hoping that maybe I can go over to the hotel they are staying at and see him tomorrow evening and pick up all his extra stuff he has from the week. Have safe travels everyone.
