A little about me:
Hi my name Michelle and I was born in California almost 50 years ago. I've been married for 19+ years and have 4 kids and 2 grandchildren . I have a hair replacement shop in Livermore, Ca. and really enjoy my job, to me it's not a job it's a place of my own to go where I make a difference in other people's lives. My family and I attend the Catholic Church in our town almost every Sunday. I have always tried to be involved with the kids activities at school and out side of school. I'm really looking forward to Navy for mom, my son will be the first in a long time to be joining the Navy right out of High School, and he has also earned his Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America. Ok enough of me let me get going on this application. One more thing before I sign off , I am going to need all the support as I let my son go onto his next step in his life.
Thank You and God Bless
I am here to support my

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
They wanted only people who wanted to go in and that is not as easy to get into the Navy as I had thought . They have a higher expectation then other branches.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Since your future Sailor will be in the Nuclear Field, you will want to join NUKE moms and you may also want to check out Nuke School Charleston and Nuke A School FAQ.

The Rating Information Card for NF can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/enlisted/rating_info_cards/nukepower.pdf. (If you get the security warning, it is safe to go there.)

Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Your Sailor may have Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY; if so, join Moms/Dads/Families with Nukes in Ballston Spa, NY at that time. Some stay in Charleston.

Join Airman Family and Friends. You can also check out HAWAII (OAHU) and/or Pearl Harbor, HI. What vessel is he on, if one?

The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 949 is Ship Staff/Honor Guard.

Comments on this page are for you and others won't see them unless thay stop by as I did. Being excited about a box of dirty clothes from your recruit is very normal. See Arrival and What Happensat the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and join that group while you are there.

Did I mention FedEx left a tag for pick up, it's from son and even though I know what's in it I'm still looking forward to getting it. How silly is that.
