OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I could hear from my husband daily if he would FaceTime me daily but he has a very stressful job over there and is so tired and has been on the phone and computer all day long that he doesn't call everyday. It kills me, but it helps him. It's almost February though so...we are going into the 5th month... I am ready for it to be over. Have you heard if you get to go over?

Hello Ryane! I commented on your comment about your husband going to Bahrain. My husband is currently there, has been almost 4 months. Anyway, I see you are in Shreveport...I'm in Memphis. :) Just thought that was cool we aren't too far apart. Anyway....would like to have others to talk to if that is something you would like.
