Welcome, Christina!

Profile Information

A little about me:
My name is Christina and I am a college student at Adrian College and I am an art major at the moment. Hopefully I stick with that as my major.lol. I'm sooo short! I'm exactly 5'0" yeah and I just turned 21 recently. So people think I'm 12 years old. I feel bad for my boyfriend.lol. Well I'm always smiling, and usually positive and very bubbly and I believe that’s why my boyfriend fell for me. I was different than most girls according to him. :) We've been together for over 3 years now (January 17, 2007), but we were good friends, really best friends before we started dating, for about 5 years now. He left for boot camp, for the Navy, on July 28th 2009. He is in Great Lakes, IL, which isn't too far since we're from Michigan, but transportation can be an issue for me anyways.
Well I'm new at this, well website and dealing with the Navy. My dad was in the Navy too, but that was years before I was born. So it gets hard, but it strives me everyday til I can see him again. So it's a good experience and hard, but if you get through it, you can get through anything, so I think, because it is hard to see the one you love go through things and you're so far away and when you're apart. But I never regret him going into the Navy because some people asked me, why didn't you stop him. I said, it's what he wanted to do, plus I'm in college so I thought it was great timing, but I am soooooo proud of him and everything he's accomplished so far and will accomplish. I know he’ll do great things and will succeed. I have always supported him throughout our friendship and throughout our lovely relationship. Yeah, I was worried about it when he first joined, but I was sure we'll be fine but we'll see as time goes on and he needs to do what he needs to do. I know my love for him has grown throughout this journey so far But no matter what happens, we're always there for each other and will always love and have a place for each other in our hearts.

Almost a year from now...

Posted on April 23, 2012 at 3:23am 1 Comment

So it's been a while since I've been on here and since he broke up with me. Over the summer of last year we still talked. Maybe it was because we were so use to seeing and talking to each other everyday til he left for the Navy and then when he broke up with me it seemed impossible that we couldn't go through a day without texting each other. Which made it extremely hard for me, if I had to get over him...even though I didn't want to. Anyways, it's almost been a year since he did...but…

Well he called it off...I'm so upset right now...but at the sametime I understand. I just can't believe he left me. He would ahve never left if he didn't leave for the fucking Navy...sorry. I never say things like that but I lost someone who I've known for years and who I love so much...it's not fair...but nothings fair in life. I wanted to try and make things work...but it was too much for him. The Navy changed who he was...he is a better man and I love everything thing about him...but the one… Continue

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've been on here or said anything. Well we're staying strong and things are going pretty well. I'm a junior in college now, about to change my major again. And my sailor passed his one year mark in being in the Navy just as our 3 and 1/2 years passed as well. He's ready for 2015 which is when he's out of the Navy.lol. It has it's ups and downs but he and I get…
