I haven't been on here in so long!  How are you doing?  It's so nice being able to call and text my son!  Has your son started his classes yet.  Mine was supposed to start on the 2nd, but I'm not sure what happened....he's been in "holding" and I guess gets to start classes tomorrow.  I hope things are going well for you.  I will talk to you soon

Plus I think that they like to get mail and packages.  My son text me the other day and told me that I could send him itunes money as surprises as often as I wanted.  They are so funny.

Brendon keeps asking when I'm going to send his clothes.  He just bought a laptop and doesn't want to spend a lot of money right now.  I am planning on sending stuff on Tuesday before I go to work.  It's open house and I don't have to be there until later.  I'm am doing better.  I have a job that is keeping me busy, and working on my classes, plus I am able to text the boy.  Even if he doesn't reply back.  He told me that he has PT just about every morning.  I hope that you are doing well and holding up.  It's not easy that's for sure.

I think that I'm doing better, then I run into one of my son's friends at the grocery store, and I start to cry while talking to him.  They are young.  I am proud of him too.  I just wish he was closer and I could hug him often.  I guess that's what this site is for.  I got a teaching job, and I'm working on my master's degree so I have plenty to keep me busy.  Plus I also have a 16 year old son, so I should have lots to keep my mind occupied.

I cried on Sunday too!  I didn't see the people in the airport applauding for them, but I heard about it.  My son told his girlfriend who then told me.  That stinker!  I keep trying to ask him about it, but he still hasn't told me.  We had to catch our flight home so we left early.  I gave him a hug good bye, and lost it.  I sent him a text from out side the airport that said I missed him already, and his reply was "I love you mommy"  Such a sweet boy.  This weekend did go by so fast.  I wish we could spend more time with our kids.  Oh, I also cried on my drive home from the airport.  Today was better.  How are you holding up?

You need to wait on the form letter to send letters, but you can write so that you have letters ready to mail when you get the form letter. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening.

Make change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

If you know your SR's PIR date, go to http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date and join the group for that. If you don't know the PIR date, join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in June, to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together. I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC will let you know what is happening.
