Hi ladies my son is on the same ship and div and I to are in decision mood lol I live in Florida so I'm not use to driving in snow. We are trying to figure out if we want to rent a car as well. Like your two husbands lol mine two is saying the opposite of what I say. The weather is terrible right now up there so I'm not sure how to get from the airport and get around town. I too will be attending meet and greet with Sarge. I'm thinking southwest due to they don't charge for up to two bags up to 50lbs and allows you to pay $10 one way to board first so worth it. I'm also only going to fly nonstop ms sassy I feel you on that. Please share any ideas or info with me and will do the same for you guys too. Thanks

Yes that's in the plan I intend on booking my reservations no later than Sat this will give me additional time to complete my research and get my husband's schedule . We are closer to Raleigh so seems like we will be leaving from RDU at least we agreed on one thing thus far lol!!! Yeah I plan on attending Sarge Meet and Greet. I may consider leaving on that Thur if we book a nonstop flight that's the only way!

Hello Sassy,

I am going to do some research on the NavyLodge now and then talk to my daughter since she is going as well. So it will be 4 of us attending PIR; my mom wanted to come but only 4 is allowed :-( .....My hold up on booking my flights is determining our departing date. I was thinking about going up on Wed, 27th so that way if a flight get cancelled I got a day to play with and get back on track and still make graduation; I think I feel better with that cushion but my husband doesnt have as much PTO time as I do either so he would like to come on Thur and leave Sat but my plans are come up Wed leave on Sunday evening......so many decisions to make......I dont know whether to get a car or not I say yes and he say no we wont need one....lol... Idk just confusing now lol but funny at the same time! Are you flying out of RDU?
