Hi.....Yes, Cory is in Little Creek and has been there for 2 years this December. I've visited a couple of times and it's a smaller base, but really nice. Just a short drive to Virginia Beach and about an hour from Yorktown and Williamsburg. We live in Arizona so I visit once a year and Cory comes home once a year. He seems to like it.....seems to be a pretty friendly base.

Hi, my son's best friend from highschool was stationed at Little Creek until this last weekend now he is in training to go to Afghanistan. But to your question...it takes Jesse 8-10 hours to get home. Comes down to how bad traffic is. The first 20 miles or so heading out of Norfolk are the worst. And Helenwood is a little over an hour north of Knoxville.

Matthew is out of corpsman school....didn't do so well. He is waiting orders and is undesignated. He seems relieved and is hoping to get on a ship. Me...just a little apprehensive but trusting God and praying daily! Hope Will is doing well! :)

Hey. I believe my sailor has Test 2 today. He had his first one last Thursday. I noticed your sailor already has a graduation date.. They have not told Brad anything about what is next. They said they are shooting for sometime in October.

Hey, I'm in Tullahoma . Enjoy knowing he's in school and in the same place. After that there will be times that you have no idea where they are and they can't tell you. My son has been in 5yrs. He's on the Eisenhower and should be back to port soon. He has become independent so I don't hear from him too much. . So, no news is good news. Billie

Hi Stephanie, Is great to hear from more Corpsman Moms!

I am not sure if Samantha classed up yet or not, last time she sent me a text she said it was gonna be sometime next week. So I sent her a text and asked her to tell me when she is or if she did already.
