Calling Overseas

My fiance is stationed overseas and we're trying to figure out a way to call each other that won't be ridiculously expensive. I have AT&T and I added the international plan to my phone, and he got a cheap phone when he got there. I've been calling him that way, but its really expensive. We use skype, but we usually only get to do it about once a week. So is there another way to call each other that won't be too expensive?

February 28, 2012 - Matt's Journey Begins

WOW!  We dropped Matt off at the hotel last night, lots of tears from mom and dad.  He, on the other hand, was so excited!  Today he begins his Navy journey.  It is so quiet here without him.  I think it is the not being able to talk with him that will be the hardest.

I am a very proud mama that my one and only has chosen to serve his country but I am also somewhat sad.  Matt lived with us, ate with us, vacationed with us, loved us.  He now begins his life, his journey as a…

But after going with him to the recruiters and talking with them I feel much better about it. So since he is only 17 when he decided to join I agreed to sign the papers, and I figured he would join in April anyways because thats when…
