Gift Store May Be Removed

Hello everyone!

Earlier this week Ning released the Gift Store application on all of its networks, including ours. There is a chance that this application will be removed within the next week. Navy’s JAG Corps is looking into whether or not we can have this functionality on the site due to the costs associated to our members. If the decision is made to remove this application, all current gifts will be removed from the site including those that have already been purchased. Keep this… Continue

Thought that would be the end....until another teacher asked me to organize a tour of Greece because she wanted an experienced person so do it.

So on June 3, 2010, we're leaving for a tour of Greece including a three day cruise of the Greek Isles. I… Continue

I'll be uploading more pictures as a friend sends me more that he took, but I have started an album.

We helped celebrate the 234th birthday of the Navy with our son and many other fine sailors. The evening began with a social hour and commemoration pub glasses if you chose to purchase them. A photographer with a son in the Navy was there to take portrait pictures. I can't wait to see them!

When everyone was seated at the ships (each table was named), the colors were… Continue

PIR for divided families

...it can be done with class maybe it doesn't seem like it is possible to do that, but in our case it was. The growing for me came in realizing it could be done. The joy now, is knowing God orchestrated it all better than I could have.

We spent the first 1/2 of time with our sailor and they got the rest. My sailor had fun with all I believe. There was a whole weekend to divide up! I never could have imagined this would happen. Boot camp shaped me as much as my son!
