OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

First thing first.

Stephsmom, if you open up this blog (click on title), you'll see on the upper right "options" with a down arrow. Click on the down arrow, then click "edit this blog" - from there you can change the title of this blog to something short - preferably less than 5 to 7 words. Otherwise, the program simply inserts the first 50 words of the text from body of the blog and use it as the title. Changing it would make it easier to find later on.

As for party supplies or invitations.

Any discount party supply store would have things in red, white and blue.  To save money, you can make your own invitations.Like this. Feel free to use it. MS Publisher files are attached so you can alter them to your liking. Print front (one file) on one side, inside (the other file) on reverse side on 8.5 x 11 paper horizontal. Fold it in half -

Here is the front of card.

Here is the inside.

Good luck.

Oriental trading has a lot of stuff and if you get it right after the 4th of July it will all be on sale.  Best of luck to your daughter.

Oriental trading has a lot of 4th of July stuff. Plates, cups, napkins and such. If you wait until after the 4th it will all be on sale. Hope this helps. Wish her the best of luck
