Christmas Gifts for Your Military Son/Daughter

Hard deciding what to get my son for Christmas this year since he's in the Navy now.  We all just got new phones, so was thinking of maybe a gift card of our phone carrier to use as he wishes on a bill or accessories. Otherwise it seems as though he gets alot of necessities through the Navy.  HELP!  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I got my son a IPOD Touch.  I was told that they can have them in Aschool.

Maybe a E reader (nook, kindle) if they like to read. Ipod, If they are some were cold or only gets kinda cold a Fleece Jacket (Northface/Columbian/Patagonia) I love them at my university everyone wears them; I wore it everyday.  I bought Brayd designer jeans after he moved up a size in pants (32 to a 33 this was after resue swimmer school several years ago since they only wear them on the weekend they are still in great shape) and he also went up in shirts form a Medium to a Large/XL (so at some point he might need some new clothing). My brother who is in Japan had my parents send him his old guitar and wanted new PJ pants (cause its cold there) (side note he also went up many sizes from the weight lifting so get into). This year I got Brayd nice speakers for his IPOD they run on battery and are rechargable, a HD webcam, Cologne, and Rainbow sandels for the beach.

What about any kind of gift cards?  Are they alowed to go anywhere?

Here is the link to the NEX gift card. If for some reason they don't use it all there they will put it to good use at A-school.

I got my nephew a monthly donation to the USo in his name:

He doesn't have room for much of anything, and doesn't want or need anything. The USO? Perfect!

Thanks so much for the link to the NEX gift card!  We are so excited that our sailor is coming home for Christmas.  It's so hard to buy gifts when you know how little space he has.  This is a perfect "stocking stuffer".

Merry Christmas to all!

Just a reminder my friends that the USO sends free phone cards to all of our deployed.  I went through the Ombudsman for my sailor's sub who had the commanding officer fill out the request for how many cards were needed.  Blessings for the New Year,
