First son leaving to BC on 05/11/16

My oldest son is leaving in 2 days. He does not seem to be nervous. I am, but also very proud of them both. Any last minute tips for this first time Navy mom? His younger brother is leaving in July. Any advice?

Thanks,

Navymomx2

Hi Yes they need one either purchased before they leave and activated, or they can get one there ..

Dropped him of at recruiters office today. Lots of tears!! He leaves to Great Lakes tomorrow morning. Can't wait to hear from him again!

Just went through that 3 weeks ago. We dropped our son off at the recruiters office and then saw him the next day for his swearing in. Lots of praying, I'm tellin' ya! We got a letter from him last week and a couple of phone calls on Mother's Day. He seems to be taking things in stride and your son will also. Very hard to let go though!
