My boyfriend of 4 years left to boot camp about 3weeks ago. His graduation date is 5/25. What happens after the graduation and after school? Is there any way he comes home ? Im totally new to all this so as much information as possible would be amazing!

Join the group, PIR 05/25/2012 TG 28 — 7 Divisions (157–162 & 928), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. You may also want to join, or at least check out, Girlfriends, Fiances, and Wives of Sailors, Boot Camp Mom's, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. Most Sailors go home after A School Graduation for a couple of weeks. What rating (job) is your boyfriend going to have? Go to Ratings, A School Locations, and Links to Groups and click on the Attachment and locate the rating and then you can see if there is a group for it and join the one/s that best seem to meet your needs. Those in those groups can give you more info on what to expect after BC. Knowing his rating will also help you to plan for his Liberty on PIR weekend. Those staying at GL for A School check in and then have Liberty the rest of the day and have daytime Liberty all weekend. Those flying out to A School have Liberty from about 10:35 until evening and then usually fly out the next day, but you can meet your Sailor at the airport and spend time with him there until flight time.

After boot camp they move onto school. When school is finished they get about 10 days leave. From there they move onto their duty station.

I would check into the girlfriends fiances wives of sailors
