Jace's sister had her baby. :)  So Jace's Dad called emergency services some how to let him know. Well that got him a quick call. He said that he was very emotional. He had calmed down at the end of the call and told his Dad there were only  two processing days left.

I'm not sure how I feel at this point. I want to go hug him and tell him it will all be ok. :( Missing him so much!

I had vivid dreams last night of him. Woke not sure if it was real or not.

Just breath,,,,,,,,,, Man this is hard! .......

Thank you, I'm not Grandma though. She was my stepdaughter. But I am excited for Jace to have a Nephew. Also very glad he got to talk to his Dad. <3

I'm sure that you will love that little one if given the chance.

Well yes! She has 3 now. I don't see them often at all. But my ex has a wonderful wife that I'm sure is a wonderful Grandma. My son Loves her and if he loves her I trust she is an awesome person.

Day 8 for my son at Great Lakes.  I'm sure the first 2-3 weeks is the most brutal for them...getting acclimated to their new life.  (Probably why they don't let them talk to us.)  It is VERY hard for us, but even tougher on them!!!  I'm sure they are in shock and very emotional right now.  Sounds like you are moving through the process, too.  Hoping the time goes by quickly...

Thank you kjeforandy for your kind words. We will have strong men and women for kids in the end. I know my Son will be so proud of him self when this is all said and done. That is the moment I hold on to, to see him standing tall knowing HE did it. I miss him as we all miss our kids......

No doubt...now who is going to help us!  Still tearing up occasionally, which is unbecoming of an HR Manager...lol.

Heheheh! I am a hairdresser so I have a lot of support from my clients, they understand when I'm all teary eyed. I also work with a Mom that her son is going in July.......so she get's it. Kind of. LOL she will really get it come July.

Yes.  The anticipation of them leaving is pretty bad.  I did better on 'ship-out' day than I thought, but had random waves of tears afterward.
