Does anyone know if there will be family day on Thursday the day before the ceremony? When my husband graduated they had a family day.

My son is and have received the graduation letter, didn't see anything or hear anything for Thursday...just Friday! We are having troubles with which family members coming and can only have 4. Feelings getting hurt and not sure if they can watch on a large TV?

drmmom, There is no Family Day. The first time that loved ones see the Sailors is at PIR. There are Meet and Greets the night before for loved ones to get together with others with loved ones who will have PIR, but none of the graduating Sailors are present. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend.

beaup11, Only the 4 that are on the Access List can enter the Drill Hall for PIR. All others should stay at the hotel and watch the livestream on a computer or some hotels show PIR on a large screen TV.

Has anyone reserved rooms yet? If so which one? I'm undecided on which one to go with?

My son is in Ship 14 DIV 354. He is staying in GL for A School. Any one else have a son or daughter staying for A school?
