My Daughter Corinne is in 302... and she has been so sick.  She got Cellulitis from those wonderful boots they wear right after she started basic training.. she was on anti-botics and seemed to get better.  Then she had her widsom teeth pulled.. she was having a hard time with the tests and stuff but she had pulled though. In her letters she said that she has been trying to push herself through the pain..

She has been on antibotics 4 times now.. it keeps coming back.  She is on light duty again... and now she is in the medic and they had to give her antibotics though an IV.  She feels if she can just keep off her feet long enough for them to heal, she can make it.. but as for now she is worried and frustrated.

They had a test today that they only had once chance to take it, and if they didn't pass they get washed back.. so far no phone call so I am praying she made it.  She made it though the gas chamber as well, but because of her Cellulitis coming back she was not able to do fire fighting.  She is hoping to get though that and Battle Stations.. and not get washed back.

I am so worried about her.  She has pushed and pushed and pushed herself like I have never seen before.  So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that she is able to make it out of basic so she can give her feet a chance to rest and heal.

Maybe a motivational card/note would give her that encouragement not to give up.

Oh Kelly .... bless her heart. What courage and determination! She is a Navy Sailor! A card will be in the mail to her today. I have another adopted recruit from Division 302. May her body, the antibiotics, her indomitable spirit, and her deep commitment to complete boot camp with her Division, all work together to get her back on her feet, literally. I will let her know that I will be looking for her at graduation on 9/10/10.

You cast a doubt on the 'evil' stop mom gig though! Blessings to you both! Angela
Thanks Angela.. My fingers are crossed and my candle is burning!!
Your daughter is in my son's Divison, I will be sending her positive vibes and I hope that all the news you hear is happy!
Thanks! She called yesterday she is feeling a lot better and she made it.. so hopefully she will stay well.

:) Kelly
