As Thanksgiving is fast approaching, I am reflective on what I am thankful for. I am thankful, certainly, for my family and friends, health and happiness and employment. This year I am particularly thankful for the wonderfully supportive circle of friends I have found in each one of you. I'm certain this would have been a very tough transition had it not been for this group. I have been touched by your kindness and wise words. I am thankful that our loved ones have answered the call to protect and serve this great nation. My heart is overflowing with pride.
Blessings to you and yours for a peaceful and safe Thanksgiving. ~Linda

Hi everyone, I received a money order today for $12.00 from Garden City GA. The first name of the person who sent it starts with a Z. I cannot figure out who this payment is for. If this is you please send me a message. Thanks

Cameowlot - I'm so glad you were able to spend this time with your son, even though the circumstances were not good. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving celebration.

I haven't been on this site for several weeks - trying to get more active with the Nuke Mom's, but now that I have read back several pages I realize how much I miss this group!

PK's - I really can't believe it has been a month. It seems so much longer. BC was such an amazing experience, and I don't think I will ever forget all of the emotions (good and bad) that I experienced.

Hi, folks, just stopping by for a moment, can you believe tomorrow will be a month since PIR???? In some ways it seems like so long ago! My sailor is now in California, still very busy but at least he calls at least eveery other day (of course it's usually 8 pm west coast time -- and we're on the east coast..but I'm not complaining, yawn...) He may not get much time for xmas, still haven't heard definite dates yet.
Seems like most of the kids have started classes or will soon. Always another adventure on the horizon!

Cameowlot-you are such a strong person. God was smiling upon you when you were there, knowing you could survive an hour in honor of Grandma. Grandma is proud of you
