Mumziepooh- Just wondered if you have any ideas to fill the care package of the Sailor we signed up for.  It's super hard to figure out what to give a gal we don't really know.:)

Texasmom-  So happy for you!  So glad your son is doing better and will be PIRing soon.  Bet he can't wait to leave GL, since he has been there a lot longer than most!

Hope everyone's Sailors are doing well.   Mine is doing well in Goose Creek.   We went to visit him a few weeks ago and the base there is great.  A lot of stress, though, trying to fit studying and everything else like eating in one day!:)

Take care all of you!  God Bless!!

MamaSeal - yeah - no pics of my son, either. Ah well - let's keep these boys safe.
Flowers - how sweet - i got a card and it came early! Wow! The return address was so funny:
name, name
something something Roberts Ave
some mailbox thing
Corry Station
I don't know the rest of this stuff.....

Details just seem to escape him. But he is doing well in class. Loves Florida and hot weather again. That southun boy just doesn like snow (drawllll).

Texasmom - it is nearly here!  Hard to believe - let us know when you get your "I'm a SAILOR" call.  He will be our last one - we will be finished!

I mean if anyone wants to send me photos they took, I will post them. I think because I started this page no one else is allowed to post.  Wish that wasn't the case!

I had a great Mother's Day too!

My Sailor sent me flowers!!  I must say, I feel that he is almost all grown up now.  To send flowers to your mom~you actually have to plan ahead...the thought of him planning ahead...of really thinking of me...days before Mother's Day.  Wow.  I started crying all over again!

Go NAVY!  We gave you a boy, you have turned him into an even better young man!  Thank you!

So glad that everyon's Sailors are doing well, and everyone had a great Mother's Day. I was lucky to have him home for about a week. He will be leaving tomorrow, and aparently there isn't much comunication when the ship is at sea! So I guess it will be BC all over again! But he really seems good,a little nervous about life on his ship, but thats about it. I really like this group too. We all started out here, it was so special because we all went through this stuff together

Yes this group IS different than the new one.  We've now been asked to remove all photos of our sailors in uniform off FB and any public site with their name attached if in uniform. So for those of you I shared photos with on Shutterfly, please don't post them if my son is also in them-sigh!  This is going to take awhile to get use to.  Nice to hear the other Divisions have settled into schools and routines.
