For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

So he took it home and we nursed it back to health, fed it with pop bottles and a nipple and goats milk. We named her

Frisky and she romped in the fields with us, curled up and slept at the end of the bed with us girls and was our pet for quite some time. Finally took it to the Gaylord animal (something) place where she was able to live out the rest of her life protected. Such fond memories and this picture brought them all back. Thanks!

Emily - so glad that Aaron could get home, in spite of the airline problems.

Cake Pop Machine - I heard it is really nothing more than making something like doughnut holes. So if you imagine a cake doughnut then dipped in chocolate, that's what you would get. Think the mixing with frosting and rolling would taste better ... but that's just my guess.

I was ready to throw it out the window, it just wasn't doing what I wanted it to do and it was the night before the wedding. It isn't exactly the way that I wanted it, but it is what it is. I would be willing to do ckae pops for your daughter's wedding, just send me a message and I can give you a quote. They will be a big hit, they are the craze everywhere right now. I wish I knew about them last December, I would have done them instead of cupcakes. I also had to do a "Gluten-free" mini cake for our other son so he could have cake! That one was easy! lol

Connie, I love this picture!!! How cool! Kevin was driving the other day and a mom and a recently born fawn crossed the road in front of him, he slowed to watch. The fawn was still wobbly and fell in the ditch, the mom was ahead and turned around and came back until he could get up and out to get into the field. He said it was really cute. We live in a rural area, plenty of farm country and lots of wild life. I love watching the deer play, it always put a smile on my face as did this picture!

And YES! to the airport thing William said. Aaron got lost picking me up from the airport because he relied on the GPS and it took him to the Air Force base.

The plane thing was interesting last night... It ended up not taking off until 1am. So mom and I headed to the airport... We got home around 4:30. Aaron slept the whole way home. Poor kid had been up for almost 24 hours.
