For the Stennis:  Natalie and Dori got their's mailed by Wed.  I had planned to mail my 92 today.  And they are neatly packed into 4 boxes, but the post offices are closed today!  At the 2nd one that I went to, a nice man helped me try the self serve but it wouldn't take it cause of the custom forms.

So my 92 are going on Tuesday.  I did take some photos.

Thank you Sue, would love too see your handy work. I sent mine today too :)

mine will go tomorrow.  sorry for the delay.

Thank you :)
I finally mailed off my 92 for the Stennis on Wed.  sorry for the delay, but they are on their way.  I sent some flannels, some food themed ones and 10 that I actually made!  whoohoo!  I'll get my photo posted soon.
Just truly appreciate your work. Thank you
BTW, If anyone needs one. I have a patttern for a carrier that says USS Stennis.
what do you do with this pattern? Is it for an embroidery machine ?

Here's what the postcard said from our nurse in Germany:

Sue,

thanks for the pillowcases you sent for the wounded warriors.  Your support is appreciated.  Thanks again,

Cathy.

Lyn got this thank you note from the Stennis:

Subject: Pillow Case

Thank you for taking to time make the pillow case.  It will serve two purposes.
  1. Not nearly as rough as the ship stock.
  2. The case will remind me in years to come of the tour and the support we enjoyed from folks at home.

Myself and the sailors aboard genuinely appreciate you all thinking of us.

Sincerely,

CAPT Sxxxxxxx
AIR BOSS
USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74)
how cool is that?

That is AWESOME!  Thank you so very much for posting! Thank you Lyn. :)

Here are the pictures of the 45 pc's I shipped to VRC-30 on the Stennis.
