OK ... I've been here about a year and started off with a bang and died with a wimper  LOL.  If we are having a Meet N Greet in the near future, count me in (except for the weekend of 2/14 to 2/17).  :)

cbc mom - how exciting! Nice that you will be able to spend some time with your son before he heads back to Japan.  Depending on the time I'll try to come too.

My son (who is in NY same as Julie's son) has a snow day today!  He's been texting pictures all morning - completely snowed in - can't even see the roads in their apartment complex.  Pretty crazy!

cbc mom, I'll try to come-just depends on when!

Tea sounds great!!!!!

Picking up my son tomorrow for a 2 1/2 wk leave before he heads back to Japan.  If anyone is in the Norco area tomorrow, I'm trying to get a "welcome home" gathering in front of our home.  Not sure what time yet since he's not sure what time Chief will let him go.

My son is stationed in Norfolk also.  He is on the George H.W. Bush.  They are getting ready for deployment :(  Not looking forward to that.

Hi Julie...I am also curious...does the dispatcher (I guess that is what he is called) really look at their "dream" sheet or is it random..needs of the Navy...
