Thank God I found all of you, I feel better knowing that I am not alone going through this- Does anyone know what happens after boot camp/trying to rent a lake house near base- but don't know how long I will be with my son after graduation

Thank you!  My son leaves for BC on June 12th.  He is going to be an Aviation Machinist Mate.  I'm familiar with the Navy as I was married to his dad who was in the Navy way back when.  But being a mom is so different than being a Wife.  Looking forward to gaining knowledge and getting information!

My son left on April 10th and I received his first letter today; which made it a great day!
